1. Tvids Uncompressed Video Test Sequences Tvids encompass the following video types:
All video was filmed HD 1920x1080 or higher resolution (majority of recent sequences filmed with cameras with sensors 3.8k x 2k), in the USA (New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Florida) and Europe (London, Barcelona, Munich) except the test set T2V006_Synthetic which was generated at various sizes. Subject/feature types The Tvids test clip sets cover just about the whole range of video features that an encoder is likely to encounter, including a range of subjects, motion, colours, light levels designed to fully test and stress the video encoder:
The purpose is to ensure that someone who is evaluating an encoder or decoder can be confident that the encoder will not ‘fall over’ or encode really slowly when dealing with ‘difficult video’, and importantly allows the codec user to fully compare different encoders or the codec developer to optimise the encoder for a whole range of video.

2. SyncVid A/V Sync Video Test Sequences (PROVISIONAL INFORMATION) The purposes of SyncVid are to test Test video and audio as it passes through encoding, decoding and other equipment
3. TvidsNXS real-time HD-SDI playout software and hardware This software and hardware can be used to play directly the 2D and 3D Tvids in real-time on an HD-SDI channel:
TestVid is selling these with the Tvids as a proven bundled set of video, software and hardware. Note: the real-time play-out requires a high performance PC with fast disks.
