Viewing YUV files All video is supplied in uncompressed YUV format, so you will need a YUV viewer to play the files - see the list on our YUV viewers page.
Playing YUV in real-time on SDI / ASI /DVI / HDMI UPDATE: Drastic Technologies now supports direct play-out of all Tvids on HD-SDI using Aja and BlueFish boards - contact TestVid for details (links on YUV viewers page).
It is possible to play-out the YUV video on an SDI / ASI / DVI / HDMI link, as might be required to test a hardware encoder or in a broadcast application - see the broadcast applications page and also the white paper for information on how to do this.
